From the moment of its foundation (May 12, 1977) and up to the present time, the design of the Minsk metro has been the main activity of JSC "Minskmetroproekt". In parallel, the direction of road construction was mastered with the implementation of projects for transport structures, tunnels, bridges and overpasses.

Minskmetroproekt took part in the development of investment feasibility studies and projects for subways and other transport facilities in the Russian Federation, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, as well as underground special purpose facilities in cities of the former USSR. Provided technical assistance in the design of the subway in Poland, reconstruction of the transport tunnel in Afghanistan.
